VYRAL TV LEGAL
COPYRIGHT & DMCA POLICY
Vyral TV respects intellectual property rights. This policy explains copyright requirements for creators and the process for reporting content that you believe infringes your copyrighted work.
Effective September 29, 2026 • Version 1.0
Uploading or submitting content to Vyral TV does not give you permission to use music, footage, images, artwork, performances, or other copyrighted material owned by someone else.
COPYRIGHT POLICY
Vyral TV respects the intellectual property rights of creators, artists, filmmakers, musicians, producers, photographers, writers, publishers, rights holders, and other copyright owners.
Creators may submit only content that they own or are legally authorized to submit, distribute, display, perform, reproduce, promote, and monetize as applicable.
CREATOR RESPONSIBILITY
Creators are responsible for confirming that they have all rights, licenses, permissions, releases, and clearances required for the content they submit to Vyral TV.
This may include rights involving:
- video footage;
- films and television clips;
- music recordings;
- musical compositions;
- beats and instrumentals;
- samples;
- photographs;
- graphics and artwork;
- performances;
- voice recordings;
- third-party clips;
- logos or other protected material; and
- other copyrighted works included in submitted content.
MUSIC RIGHTS
Having permission to use a sound recording does not necessarily mean you also have permission to use the underlying musical composition, and having permission to use a composition does not necessarily mean you have permission to use a particular sound recording.
Creators are responsible for securing all applicable music rights needed for their content and its intended distribution.
This may include rights associated with recordings, compositions, beats, samples, synchronization, performances, or other music-related rights depending on the content and intended use.
GIVING CREDIT IS NOT PERMISSION
Giving credit to a copyright owner, artist, producer, photographer, filmmaker, musician, or other creator does not by itself give you permission to use their copyrighted material.
If permission or a license is required, you are responsible for obtaining it before submitting the content to Vyral TV.
CONTENT REVIEW
Vyral TV may review submitted content for potential copyright or rights concerns before or after publication.
Vyral TV may request additional information or documentation regarding ownership, licensing, permissions, releases, or distribution rights.
Vyral TV is not required to independently verify every copyright or licensing claim made by a creator before content is distributed.
REMOVAL OR RESTRICTION OF CONTENT
Vyral TV may temporarily restrict, disable, demonetize, or remove content when it receives a credible copyright complaint or otherwise reasonably believes that the content may infringe intellectual property rights.
Vyral TV may also restrict distribution while a copyright dispute is being reviewed.
DMCA TAKEDOWN NOTICES
If you are a copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of a copyright owner and believe that material available through Vyral TV infringes your copyrighted work, you may submit a copyright infringement notice.
To help Vyral TV evaluate a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, the notice should include the information required by applicable law.
WHAT TO INCLUDE IN A COPYRIGHT NOTICE
A copyright infringement notice should include:
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple copyrighted works are involved.
Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to allow Vyral TV to locate the material.
Your name and contact information, such as an email address, telephone number, and mailing address where appropriate.
A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right allegedly infringed.
Your physical or electronic signature.
IDENTIFY THE CONTENT CLEARLY
A copyright notice should provide enough information for Vyral TV to identify and locate the allegedly infringing material.
Where available, include the program title, creator or channel name, episode or video title, URL, screenshot, or other identifying information.
A general statement that unspecified content infringes your rights may not provide enough information to process the request.
AFTER VYRAL TV RECEIVES A NOTICE
After receiving a sufficiently complete copyright notice, Vyral TV may review the notice and take action appropriate under applicable law and Vyral TV policies.
Depending on the circumstances, Vyral TV may:
- request additional information;
- temporarily restrict the disputed content;
- remove or disable access to the content;
- notify the creator or account holder;
- provide information regarding a counter-notification process;
- restrict monetization associated with disputed content; or
- take other action required or permitted by law.
COUNTER-NOTIFICATIONS
If your content was removed or disabled because of a copyright notice and you believe the removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, you may be able to submit a counter-notification where permitted under the DMCA.
A counter-notification must contain the information required by applicable law.
A DMCA counter-notification is a legal process. Creators should submit one only when they have a good-faith basis for asserting that the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification.
COUNTER-NOTIFICATION INFORMATION
A valid counter-notification generally must include information required under applicable law, which may include:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the material that was removed or disabled and where it appeared before removal;
- a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification;
- your name, address, and telephone number; and
- applicable statements concerning jurisdiction and acceptance of service of process as required under the DMCA.
Because a counter-notification can have legal consequences, you may wish to consult a qualified attorney if you are uncertain about your rights.
RESTORATION AFTER A COUNTER-NOTICE
When Vyral TV receives a valid counter-notification, Vyral TV may forward it to the person who submitted the original copyright notice where required or permitted by law.
Content may be restored in accordance with applicable DMCA procedures unless the original complaining party informs Vyral TV that appropriate legal action has been filed to prevent restoration.
FALSE OR MISLEADING CLAIMS
Copyright notices and counter-notifications are legal communications. Knowingly making material misrepresentations in a DMCA notice or counter-notification may have legal consequences.
Do not submit copyright complaints merely because you dislike a creator, disagree with content, or want content removed for reasons unrelated to copyright ownership.
REPEAT INFRINGEMENT
Vyral TV may restrict or terminate creator accounts or content distribution privileges in appropriate circumstances involving repeat copyright infringement.
Vyral TV may consider the circumstances of copyright complaints, responses, counter-notifications, court determinations, retractions, and other relevant information when administering this policy.
CREATOR MONETIZATION & COPYRIGHT DISPUTES
Content involved in a copyright or ownership dispute may be excluded from monetization, have earnings held or adjusted where appropriate, or otherwise be restricted while the dispute is reviewed.
Revenue determined to be ineligible because a creator lacked required rights may be excluded from creator earnings in accordance with Vyral TV’s Creator Monetization & Revenue Terms.
THIRD-PARTY DISTRIBUTION PLATFORMS
Vyral TV content may be distributed through Roku and other streaming, connected-TV, hosting, or distribution platforms.
Those platforms may maintain their own copyright procedures and may independently restrict or remove content under their policies or legal obligations.
Vyral TV cannot guarantee that content removed by an independent third-party platform can be restored by Vyral TV.
TRADEMARK & OTHER INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY COMPLAINTS
Copyright law is not the only form of intellectual-property protection. Complaints involving trademarks, rights of publicity, impersonation, or other rights may require a different review process.
When submitting a non-copyright intellectual-property complaint, clearly identify the right involved, the material at issue, your relationship to the rights holder, and supporting information reasonably necessary for Vyral TV to evaluate the complaint.
HOW TO SUBMIT A COPYRIGHT REQUEST
Copyright notices, counter-notifications, and other intellectual property requests may be submitted through the copyright or contact method designated by Vyral TV.
Include the specific content involved, your contact information, your relationship to the copyrighted work, and the information required for the type of request you are submitting.
Vyral TV may establish a dedicated copyright email address, online form, or designated DMCA agent contact method for these requests. The current designated contact information should be displayed on this page once established.
