VYRAL TV VIEWER GUIDE

CONTENT RATING & AGE GUIDELINES

Vyral TV features programming for different audiences, including kids, teens, families, and general audiences. These guidelines explain how content may be categorized, labeled, and reviewed to help viewers and families make informed viewing choices.

Effective September 29, 2026 • Version 1.0

KNOW WHAT YOU’RE WATCHING

DIFFERENT CONTENT. DIFFERENT AUDIENCES.

Not every program on Vyral TV is intended for every age group. Creators are responsible for accurately describing their content, and Vyral TV may use audience categories, content information, warnings, or other labels to help viewers understand what a program may contain.

01

PURPOSE OF THESE GUIDELINES

These guidelines are intended to help organize Vyral TV programming and provide viewers, parents, and guardians with useful information about the intended audience and content of individual programs.

They also provide creators with general guidance when submitting shows, movies, music videos, podcasts, creator content, reality programming, live programming, and other content.

02

CONTENT CATEGORIES ARE NOT GUARANTEES

Audience categories and content descriptions are intended as guidance. Individual families may have different standards regarding what they consider appropriate for a child or teenager.

PARENTS & GUARDIANS

Parents and guardians should use their own judgment when deciding what programming is appropriate for children in their care.

03

VYRAL TV AUDIENCE GUIDANCE

Vyral TV may organize programming using general audience guidance such as the categories below.

KIDS

Kids Content

Programming primarily intended for younger viewers. Content should be suitable for the audience represented and may be subject to additional child-safety, privacy, advertising, and programming requirements.

FAMILY

Family Content

Programming designed for shared family viewing. Some themes may require parental judgment depending on a child’s age and individual sensitivities.

TEEN

Teen Content

Programming primarily intended for teenage audiences and that may contain themes, language, relationships, discussions, or situations more appropriate for older children and teens.

GENERAL

General Audience

Programming intended for a broad or general audience. General audience content is not automatically intended specifically for children.

MATURE

Mature Audience

Programming containing stronger language, themes, discussions, violence, sexual themes, substance-related material, or other content that may not be appropriate for children. Vyral TV may restrict or decline certain mature content under its Community Guidelines.

04

KIDS & FAMILY PROGRAMMING

YOUNGER AUDIENCES RECEIVE ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATION.

Vyral TV may apply additional review, privacy, advertising, promotion, and programming standards to content categorized as Kids & Family.

Creators should not categorize content as Kids & Family solely to increase its visibility or reach a younger audience.

The selected category should reasonably reflect the program’s actual intended audience and subject matter.

05

TEEN PROGRAMMING

Teen-oriented programming may explore topics that are more complex than programming intended for younger children.

Depending on context, this may include relationships, social issues, school experiences, stronger emotional themes, age-appropriate language, competition, reality programming, or other topics relevant to teenage audiences.

Teen classification does not permit content that otherwise violates Vyral TV’s Community Guidelines.

06

MATURE CONTENT

Certain content intended for adults or mature audiences may be subject to additional review, labeling, restrictions, distribution limitations, or platform requirements.

Vyral TV reserves the right to decline mature programming that does not fit its programming standards, intended audience, advertiser requirements, distribution relationships, or Community Guidelines.

07

CONTENT DESCRIPTORS

Where appropriate, Vyral TV may display content information or descriptors to help viewers understand why a program may require additional viewer discretion.

LANGUAGEStrong or frequent language
VIOLENCEViolence or threatening situations
THEMESMature or sensitive themes
SEXUAL THEMESAge-sensitive romantic or sexual material
SUBSTANCESAlcohol, drugs, smoking, or related material
FEARFrightening or intense scenes
08

CREATOR DISCLOSURE

Creators should accurately answer content-related questions included in Vyral TV submission forms.

Creators should disclose significant content elements that may affect audience suitability, including strong language, violence, sexual themes, mature discussions, frightening material, or substance-related content when requested.

DO NOT MISLABEL CONTENT.

Intentionally providing false or materially misleading audience information may result in recategorization, restricted distribution, content removal, or other action under Vyral TV policies.

09

VYRAL TV MAY RECATEGORIZE CONTENT

A creator’s selected audience category is not necessarily final.

Vyral TV may change a program’s category, audience designation, content description, warning, or placement when reasonably necessary to better reflect the content or satisfy platform, advertiser, safety, or legal requirements.

10

MUSIC VIDEOS

Music videos may be evaluated based on the lyrics, visual content, language, themes, choreography, clothing, imagery, violence, substance references, sexual themes, and other relevant content.

A song being commercially released or available on another platform does not automatically determine its Vyral TV audience category.

11

PODCASTS

Podcast audience guidance may consider the subjects discussed, language used, guest conversations, mature themes, explicit descriptions, and other content contained in an episode.

Different episodes within the same podcast may require different content information depending on the topics discussed.

12

MOVIES, SERIES & SHOWS

Movies, series, and shows may be evaluated based on the complete program or episode, including dialogue, themes, violence, sexual content, frightening scenes, substance-related material, and other relevant factors.

Creators should provide accurate descriptions and any existing ratings or audience information requested during submission.

13

REALITY PROGRAMMING

Reality programming may contain unscripted language, conflicts, emotional situations, relationships, or other material that affects audience suitability.

Creators should identify significant content concerns when submitting reality programming.

14

LIVE PROGRAMMING

Live programming presents additional challenges because all content cannot necessarily be reviewed before broadcast.

Vyral TV may require additional safeguards, moderation, delay technology, creator approval, audience designation, or other measures for live programming.

15

THUMBNAILS & PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL

Thumbnails, posters, titles, descriptions, trailers, and other promotional material should be appropriate for the audience that may reasonably encounter them.

A mature program should not use misleading promotional materials to make the content appear to be intended for young children.

16

THIRD-PARTY RATINGS

Some movies, television programs, or other professionally distributed content may already have ratings or classifications issued by another organization, distributor, or platform.

Vyral TV may display, reference, supplement, or separately categorize such information where appropriate.

Third-party ratings remain the responsibility of the organization that issued them.

17

ROKU & OTHER DISTRIBUTION PLATFORMS

Content distributed through Roku or another third-party platform may also be subject to that platform’s content classification, audience, parental-control, advertising, or programming requirements.

Vyral TV may modify labels, metadata, or distribution settings as needed to meet applicable platform requirements.

18

PARENTAL SUPERVISION

Vyral TV may provide audience information to assist families, but no rating or classification system can account for every family’s individual preferences.

Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising children’s viewing and deciding which programs are appropriate for children in their care.

19

REPORTING INCORRECT AUDIENCE INFORMATION

If a viewer believes a program has been materially miscategorized or is missing important audience information, the viewer may contact Vyral TV through the contact method provided on the Vyral TV website.

Vyral TV may review the program and update its category, description, warning, or distribution where appropriate.

20

CHANGES TO THESE GUIDELINES

Vyral TV may update these Content Rating & Age Guidelines as its programming library, audience, distribution services, technology, or applicable requirements develop.

The effective date shown at the top of this page identifies the current version.
